Is Market America A Pyramid Scheme?

Market America is a product brokerage and Internet marketing company,  which has an online retail platform shop.com in which over 30 million products are listed in various categories like books, apparels, electronics, Health and Nutrition, Movies, Music, Video Games, etc.

In recent news, it is said that MLM Market America is blamed in a current federal lawsuit of being an irregular pyramid scheme that aims Chinese immigrants by deceiving them into making them believe that they will have a financial chance which is never seen in any history before.

The suit claims Market America is counting on its delegates to sell its products to their family and friends in China, the world's most populated country. However, California Residents Chuanjie Yang and Ollie Lan both lost money on Market America.

The company's general counsel, Clement Erhardt said “Market America has never been blamed by any federal, state or international regulator of being anything but a legal business company".

Well, Market America is an MLM network and operates completely reverse to the pyramid scheme, that those in the bottom are important at the top of the company.
